CTU Drone Academy

The purpose of CTU Drone Academy, hereinafter referred to DA, is to provide students from CTU with an interesting out-of-educational-process activity focused on the field of unmanned aerial vehicles and thus increase their interest and awareness in this area.

The DA provides:

  • FLIGHT LESSONS - practical lessons of drones piloting/steering in DA Indoor Flying Arena for beginners and advanced. More info below.
  • Simulator RealFlight RF-X available during flying lessons mentioned above
  • SCIENCE LECTURES – drone technologies, legislative, drone application in industry, precision agriculture, navigation means, sense & avoid systems, drone building and others nowadays topics related to drones. Program of lectures is mentioned below and in EVENTS calendar.
  • DRONE RACING - measuring of drone piloting skills among flying lessons absolvents and professional pilots.

Drone academy lecturers are experienced modelers with extensive experience in the field of flying, drone design and operation.

All lessons and lectures are going to be held in FEE building, Dejvická campus, Technická 2, Prague 6, room T2:H1-34 (CTU DA Indoor Fligth Arena) which is a laboratory dedicated for unmanned aerial systems and newly reconstructed.
